In 1995 he became a member of the Bedouin unit in the Moslah Shrine in Fort Worth where he remained active until his death.
Oleta Faye Statham Oleta Faye Statham, age 81 of Childress, died Thursday, April 3, 2014. April 5 at First Baptist Church in Childress with the Rev. She worked at Royal Park Sewing Factory, Lancer Mobile Homes and Watkins for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Rusty Statham of Wellington and David Statham of Childress; a daughter, Ann Statham of Childress; and four grandchildren. 7, 1949 in Amarillo to Elzie and Nathalene Lee Browne. She received her Masters Degree in education from Stephen F.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nathalene.
Survivors include her father, Elzie; a sister, Beverly Hudson and husband Tommy of Wellington; her niece, Holly Landess and sons Tyler and Thomas Landess of Wellington; and her nephew, Kent Hudson and wife Karrie and daughters Natalee and Sadie Hudson of Wellington.
She was also a volunteer fire fighter for five years.Pat attended the First Baptist Church in Morton where she was a member of the church choir.She was also a member of the Emily Smith Study Club of Morton.A longtime member of the Church of Christ, Tillie enjoyed taking care of her pecan trees and tending to her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. and Clara Neese Lockhart in Wellington where he was a lifetime resident. Together, they had two sons, Calvin and Faron, and a daughter, Doris. Travis was self-employed in construction and a cattleman all his life. Travis was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, La Fern Riley, Emma Lee Herring, Eldon Lockhart, Maudine Judd and Velda Brown; and two grandchildren, Travis Lee De Voss in 1986 and Angel Ranell De Voss in 1988. Etta Faye Stahl Etta Faye Stahl, age 74 of Wellington, formerly of Amarillo, died Friday, May 16, 2014 in Wellington. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Survivors include a son, Wendell Stahl of Wellington; two daughters, Bobbie Stahl of Arizona and Rhonda Vanhuss of Tennessee; a sister, Barbara Savage of Borger; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Dan was a Mason from an early age and a 48 year member of the Shrine.
